Welcome to Princes Risborough Lawn Tennis Club (PRLTC)

We are a thriving, friendly club, based in the centre of town; we have three artificial clay courts and a newly refurbished clubhouse. We welcome players of all standards and offer a broad range of playing opportunities. Whether you are a junior looking to take part in our extensive coaching programme, someone returning to the sport and interested in the ‘rusty racquets’ sessions, or an experienced league player we will have something for you. We run weekly club sessions, enter men’s ladies’ and mixed teams in local leagues and run fun and friendly competitive one day tournaments a couple of times a year. Members are able to organise their own social tennis sessions too.

If you are interested in joining our club or are an existing member looking for information, please do take a look around the site to find out more about all that we have to offer.

Clubhouse Refurbishment

The new patio will be laid from Monday 20th May and the work could take up to two weeks.
During this time the area front of the clubhouse will be like a building site, access to the clubhouse will be limited, and there may even be times when the entrance is completely closed.
Please be respectful to the workmen, and be careful around the tools and equipment at the club.
If you need to use the clubhouse, and access is available, please take care not to carry mud and dust from the works into the clubhouse – it is so nice now, we don’t want to get it muddy!
Thank you for your co-operation.

Forthcoming Events

This year’s first social tournament, the Kennedy Cup, takes place on Sunday 26 May starting at 1pm. This is a fun, mixed tournament and all abilities are welcome. Cost for entry is £5 and a donation to the buffet lunch, with a tin of balls for the best homemade dish (I’m a huge fan of brownies). If you are able to come along please put your name down on the notice that will be on display in the clubhouse. You can also enter by emailing our tournament director Anthony Heald at antheald99@yahoo.com
